Kadee is 5’5″ (1.65 m) tall.

Her middle name ‘Dee’ was her from her father’s name.

She was raised in Patterson, Georgia.

Was the Homecoming Queen in elementary, middle and high school, the student council president and a cheerleader.

Kadee is the third and youngest child of Susan (a nurse and nursing instructor)and Dee (a superintendent and high school football coach).

Had a job picking tobacco on a farm for eight years.

She graduated from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

She considers Jessica Lange, Holly Hunter, Diane Keaton and Jane Fonda as role models.

Her favorite horror movie is the 1976 classic The Omen.

Took a part-time waitressing job at a restaurant and interned at a casting agency, where one of her tasks was to read lines at auditions for small roles in local film and television projects; the job landed Strickland her first film role.

Is an advocate of the arts. In 2004, before the release of Anacondas, she hosted the art debut of fellow actress Heidi Jayne Netzley at the Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa Monica, California.

Kadee was considered for the role of Susan Storm/Invisible Girl in 2005 movie Fantastic Four, but the role went to Jessica Alba instead.

Joined the Screen Actors Guild and considered using her given name, Katherine, as the first part of her stage name, before deciding she was much too tomboy for it.

Kadee married actor, Jason Behr on November 10, 2006. The couple met on the set of the film The Grudge in 2004.

In 2006, Kadee received a Silver Star Alumni Award from her alma mater.
